A little while ago I did a review of Coffee Brand Coffee’s Earl Grey tea and I liked it so much I decided to review all the teas in their catalogue. This time I chose to review the chamomile lavender tea. I’m a big fan of chamomile tea; however, I have never been a fan of the flavor of lavender. That being said after the Earl Grey I had high hopes for this tea.
I’ve had other chamomile lavender teas before and the problem is that the lavender always overpowered the chamomile flavor making it taste basically Undrinkable. Much to my pleasant surprise that was not the case with this tea. It had a nice smooth subtle sweet flavor of the chamomile with just a hint of the lavender. The loose leaf (or in this case loose flowers I guess 🤷♀️) format gives you the ability to control how much of the chamomile and lavender is in the tea. This in turn allows you to regulate how much of the lavender flavor is in the tea, which is nice for someone like me who doesn’t want the lavender flavor to be too strong.
My overall experience with this tea was very pleasant and I was able to enjoy a tea that I usually wouldn’t. I am still not a huge fan of lavender so while I liked it this tea still isn’t particularly my cup of…. well you get it. My final take is that is you enjoy lavender you will absolutely love this tea, and even if you don’t it’s still pretty good.
One sip everybody knows the rules.
