Other than being a sports expert, I also happen to be a tea and pastry connoisseur. I’ve tried various teas from around the world and I feel I’m qualified to discern how good a tea is. That being said let’s get into the review.
One sip everybody knows the rules.
The tea comes in loose leaf form instead of a bag, I like it when they do this because it gives you more control over the flavor of your tea. The tea itself has a great flavor, it has a bold yet smooth flavor that you’d expect from a good black tea and the citrus flavor of the bergamot was complementary and not overpowering. I personally prefer the bergamot flavor to be more subtle in an Earl Grey. That way it serves more to enhance the tea’s natural flavor rather than overpower it. This makes me think that the company’s claim of a 100% organic tea is pretty accurate as a synthetic bergamot flavor wouldn’t be able to produce the harmonious blend of flavors that I experienced.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this tea, in fact I would put it up there as one of if not the best tea I’ve had. It’s that good, I would highly recommend this particular blend of tea and I’m excited to try the rest of their blends.
