Hurts Gets Robbed in MVP Vote

Last night Patrick Mahomes won his second MVP award of his career. That’s all good or whatever, and he had a great year so I’m not going to pretend he doesn’t deserve it, but that award should have won that award and everyone knows it. He lead the team with the NFL’s best record to the Super Bowl, and played phenomenal in the process. Although now that I think about it Patrick Mahomes did pretty much the same thing, and he didn’t miss any games either, so maybe he should have one after all.

Anyway Justin Jefferson, the Wide Receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, won the Offensive player of The Year. San Francisco 49ers Defensive End Bick Nosa won Defensive Player of The Year, and his coach DeMeco Ryans won Assistant Coach of The Year. Both Rookie of The Year awards were won by New York Jets players with Wide Receiver Garrett Wilson winning on offense and Cornerback Sauce Gardener winning on defense. Former WVU Alum and current Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Geno Smith won Comeback Player of The Year, after having a tremendous season, reaching career highs in passing yards and passing touchdowns and leading the Seahawks to the playoffs.

Overall while I’ll congratulate all the award winners from last night I’ll admit that I’m a bit disappointed that no Eagles players won any awards. That being said I think I’ll get over it if we win the Super Bowl this weekend.
