PSG Wins Exciting All-Star Matchup in Saudi Arabia

PSG had their game against the Saudi Arabian All-Star team which featured Cristiano Ronaldo today. The game started with an exciting first half which saw both teams’ marquee players score goals; with Messi’s coming early at the 3 minute mark while Ronaldo’s was scored at the 34 minute mark on a penalty. It looked as if the first half would end with PSG in the after Marquinhos made the score 2-1 at the 43 minute mark, but Ronaldo scored again in extra time just before the end of the half to finish out a first half that justified the hype this game had received.

The second half featured more of the same with PSG taking the lead 3-2 after a score from Sergio Ramos. After about the 60 minute mark Ronaldo and Messi were subbed out, but before that there were scores from Jang Hyun-Soo and Kylian Mbappe to make the score 4-3 in favor of PSG. Hugo Ekitike of PSG and Anderson Talisca scored the final goals of the game for their respective teams making the final score a 5-4 victory for PSG. Overall this game was far more exciting and high energy than one would expect to see during a friendly match, but given the hype built up before the match it need to be an entertaining match and I think it’s safe to say that it lived up to expectations.
