Two UFC Title Fights Set, Jones vs Gane, Edwards vs Usman

The UFC has announced two title fights that will take place this year with the first being a fight for the Heavyweight championship belt between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and former UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Ciryil Gane. This fight was made after the UFC released Francis Ngannou and stripped him of the UFC Heavyweight title. This fight will mark Jones’ first fight in three years and his first fight in the UFC Heavyweight division. The fight is set for UFC 285 which will be held on March 4th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The other title fight announced was a rematch between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman for the UFC Welterweight championship. Edwards won the title in his previous fight against the former champion Usman back in August of last year. That fight was more or less dominated by Usman until the fifth round in which Leon Edwards knocked him out. This fight will be headlining UFC 286 which is scheduled to be held on March 18th in London.
