For my First Strawberry Shortcake Review went to Paris Baguette in Center City, mostly because it was a Five minute walk from the hotel. That’s neither here nor there though because all that matters here is how how good the shortcake is.
Now I’m something of an expert when it comes to the topic of good shortcake. Paris Baguette is a bakery cafe in Philadelphia with lots of options but only one I really cared about.
Overall it was a solid shortcake with a nice light and fluffy sponge cake and a nice whipped cream topping and plenty of fresh refreshing strawberries. Other than the fact that I think there wasn’t enough sweetness to balance out the tartness of the strawberry (which is a more of a personal preference) it was a solid piece of cake
