There are a lot of big things happening in Philadelphia sports for the Eagles and 76ers, but undoubtedly the biggest news this year comes from the Philadelphia Union. It was announced yesterday that the Philadelphia Union’s Brandon Comisky has won the MLS’s Equipment Manager of the year award. Now I’ll give you a second to process this tremendously historical moment before we continue.

Alright as I was saying this award is of course a great honor as it is one of the most prestigious awards in the world. This honor is of no surprise to the citizens of Philadelphia as they have seen first hand the hard work that Comisky has done to keep the Philly Union’s kits looking as good as they did, and know that he was an integral part of the Union making the MLS Cup Finals this year.
Now this of course is not Comisky’s first time being the recipient of this award, it is in fact the second time he has won it. With achievements of this magnitude there is no doubt that Brandon Comisky will go down as one of the if not the GREATEST figure in Philadelphia sports history. So let’s all give Brandon Comisky a round of applause. Now I can’t see you but I’ll just assume that you are giving him a round of applause and maybe some excited cheers.
